Guarantee and Terms and Conditions of Sales

 Please read carefully

1.    We provide a certificate of authenticity with every autographed collectible.   Either Charles Schurter or Phil Hanks, or both, have personally witnessed the signing of every single autograph we sell and we certify to that fact.   Many of our recently obtained signatures are authenticated by PSA/DNA Authentication Services.  PSA/DNA certified autographs contain a tamper-evident serialized label. 2. We guarantee that all signatures are authentic and are original signatures that are hand signed by the players.   If you purchase one our products and you believe that the signature is not authentic, within 60 days of receiving the item, you may return it to us, postage prepaid, and in the same condition you received it and we will refund the full price you paid less shipping and packaging costs.  If you find a certified forensic specialist that will certify that the signature contained on item you purchaed from us is not authentic within one year of receiving the item, you may return the product to us in the same condition as you received it and we will refund the full purchase price not including the cost of shipping and packaging.

3.    If you purchase a non-commissioned oil painting, lithograph, or caricature from us and are not completely satisfied with the quality, you may return it to us in the same condition as received by you, postage prepaid, within 45 days of the original shipping date, and we will refund the full price you paid less shipping costs. Purchaser is always responsible for all costs associated with packing and shipping of oil paintings.

4.    All commissioned or custom works require a 50% deposit and the balance is due upon completion.  All sales of commissioned works are final and final payment may be withheld only if there is an objectively reasonable defect contained in the work.  Purchaser is always responsible for all costs associated with packing and shipping of oil paintings.

Pursuant to California Civil Code 1739.7, all dealers selling autographed collectibles must display the following message at the location where to collectible is being offered for sale and in close proximity to the merchandise:

SALE OF AUTOGRAPHED SPORTS MEMORABILIA: AS REQUIRED BY LAW, A DEALER WHO SELLS TO A CONSUMER ANY SPORTS MEMORABILIA DESCRIBED AS BEING AUTOGRAPHED MUST PROVIDE A WRITTEN CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY AT THE TIME OF SALE. THIS DEALER MAY BE SURETY BONDED OR OTHERWISE INSURED TO ENSURE THE AUTHENTICITY OF ANY COLLECTIBLE SOLD BY THIS DEALER.

We are not surety bonded nor do we carry insurance to ensure the authenticity of any collectible.  We do guarantee each autograph and we comply with all laws pertaining to this subject.  Please be advised that as an attorney of law, duly licensed to practice law in the state of California, Charles Schurter is held to high moral standard and could be disciplined by the State Bar of California in the event he is found guilty of any crime involving moral turpitude, such as autograph fraud.  This is further evidence of our guarantee and commitment to provide only authentic autographs.
